About Us

Bear Creek Leather is a family owned and operated custom leather shop, located in New Braunfels, TX. 

Each of our products are hand cut and sewn by us in our Hill Country shop.  

Bear Creek started in 2007 with our founder and owner, Doug, making leather holsters (www.bearcreekholsters.com), which is still in operation. In 2016 his son William and daughter-in-law Angela joined the team. Bear Creek Leather was created shortly after their addition to the team with the mindset to create timeless leather pieces designed for everyday use. We seek out beautiful leather hides that will age and patina but will stand the test of time. Many of our bags have a name, not only to differentiate a style, but to pay homage to the person that served as the inspiration. We create each of our patterns and are often able to work with clients to create their item.
